DR TCB I like that book you're reading.

I remember when I was in high school a book called - I think - The Titanic & The Californian.....some guy twisted all the facts around and drew charts and other stuff to try to convince everyone that there was ANOTHER ship between the Titanic & the Californian.

It was a horrible book and there are those who believed his drivel and kept trying to get Captain Lord's name "cleared."

I thought the preview for CATS looked like garbage and something I would never want to see, but the reviews are so funny about how awful it is that I kinda want to see it.  I detest the show, but it sure gave work to a number of friends.

Re the impeachment: I always say the same thing, because no one can really dispute it, no matter which side you're on: Can you imagine the same exact scenario playing out but with a Democrat president - can you even imagine what the reaction would be if the Republicans knew that a Democrat-controlled senate had already made up its mind?  If the Democrats were lying and screaming what do you think the reaction would be?  Well, we all know.

Absolutely true, but sadly, the Republicans just don't care.

Picked up some packages, but naturally one arrived after I'd left and I can see from the online form it was a screener.  Maybe I'll go back later and get it.  Then I had to put gas in the motor car.  The gas station is next to Popeye's - line out the door.  So, my intention was to just go to Gelson's and get the ingredients for faux chicken stroganoff.  No parking spaces at all.  Ended up at Taco Bell, which I didn't really want, but it was pretty good.

Listening to music and trying to figure out whether I want to endure another ninety minutes of either Motherless Brooklyn OR Little Women.  I now can stream Knives Out, so that's a possibility, although I'd rather have a screener.

I am crushed.  The ACC euthanized a 17-month-old puppy today.  I fell in love with him from his photo and videos.  There was over $2,000 pledged to the rescuer who saved him as well as $1,000 for a trainer, and I do not know why in hell no one stepped up.

There are always 2-3 dogs I root for every euthanasia day (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday).

Well, crap.  Even though I got it last week, I just finished listening to the entire The New Yorkers, and I really do love it!  HOWEVER, several of the tracks at the end of the CD have a kind of crackly distortion that I previously had only heard on recordable CD-Rs that were getting too old.

I'm sending it back to Amazon and should get a free replacement on Monday.

It's interesting...I was able to rip one of the distorted tracks to MP3 and the MP3 didn't have the distortion, but the rest of them did.  Otherwise, if none of the MP3s had the distortion, I'd just keep the CD.

Well, I'm off to the theater to see Miss Bennet, Christmas at Pemberly.  I'm sure that I'll enjoy it.

Leonard is such a good kitty. I put up the Christmas tree and he is totally leaving it alone.  He looks at it and walks behind it, but he is not messing with it at all. He didn't last year, either, when he was a kitten.

That’s good news.  My Bandit was always good too except for one mishap when he jumped into the middle of the tree....but I think it was by accident

Fed Ex just delivered my first Christmas gift.  It was a wonderful, unexpected surprise that made my day.
