I didn't mention the peeling - the peeling of the garlic has always annoyed me, but tonight, after a quarter of a century, I figured out how to do it easily - has to do with how much of the ends you cut off.

That's cool. I've never tried to peel garlic, but I work with someone who has over the years mentioned the difficulty of and different ways to peel garlic.
