Last night we watched the George C. Scott film of A Christmas Carol, directed by Clive Donner. I hadn't seen it in maybe ten years or more. I had forgotten how creepy it was - it is a ghost story - but I thought it was quite wonderful and very true to Mr Dickens' story.. Scott is excellent, but Annabelle's favorite Scrooge is Mr Magoo.

Bryan did gift me a new tablet, the better international version of the Samsung I almost purchased awhile back. Now I am forced to upgrade, thankfully. I still think it is a miracle my tablet is working in spite of all the issues it seems to have.
