I’m hoping the new year will see more readings and perhaps a full production of the play I’ve been working on for the past year. There will be a reading at a regional theater in Boca Raton in May

Vibes for a production filled year!

Vibes for DR ELMORE.....misunderstandings usually involve a jealous third person.....you know.....

I think in this case it's more of my being in the middle and wishing not to be.  I'm hopimg we're okay because I like this friend very much.

Vibes for an amicable resolution for all involved

The TOD is an easy one for me.  I hope for a healthy, beautiful granddaughter and a safe easy delivery for our daughter in-law.

Then to stay healthy & not break anything so I can enjoy this perfect granddaughter :)

DR Jane, this will work for me, too, except Rob and Mary Linda are choosing not to know their baby’s gender.  And I have to add a wish for them to have a smooth move to Chicagoland.

On Christmas day Keith's uncle turned 92.  Within 2 days he was in the hospital with the flu and now has pneumonia. He is doing better.  Fingers crossed he can go home tomorrow.

We were very happy not to have to wait to know the sex of the baby.

Funny, we also hope Kate gets her PHD title so next year she can hunt for a job and they hopefully will leave Chicagoland.

Wishes you also have a healthy perfect grand baby, and that the delivery & move are easy.

The new MD, Gavin Thrasher, called me.  He wanted to program an arrangement of "Over the Rainbow" that I had written - and completely forgotten! - in 1998.  Well, during the Chorus years I was grinding out arrangement for all occasions and concerts so I'm not completely surprised I had forgotten it.  So, we had a pleasant conversation and made plans to have lunch in the New Year.

He sent me a pdf of my arrangement, which the Chorus wants to sing in its March 2020 concert.  It's much better than I thought.  And that was my afternoon.  The Chorus celebrates its 40th anniversary this year, so I suspect more forgotten tems will be showing up.

As I wrote you earlier, you underestimate at times how much your work is valued and the attention people pay to what you feel.

I wonder if because you have money concerns like many other wonderful artists have, you don't feel as respected as you are.   Vibes that the rediscovery of the work you forgot means more paying work.

Though my pre-diabetes is not what is currently making me sick.  I had reduced my chocolate due to it, which was a good idea while I slowly reduced my other medication that allowed me to eat chocolate without getting sick.

What does your doctor consider OK?

My doctor told me as long as I can keep my A1C under 7.0, he wouldn't worry.

That's fine that he wouldn't worry, but when can I worry?

He wanted me to try Metformin because when I was in the hospital in June, it had zoomed up to 7-point-something the day if the operation.

But then the next time (September) came to 6.0, and he called me right away when that 6.0 number came in and said it's fine if you took Metformin today, but let's stop the Metformin right now.

Then it was 6.7 last month, which sounds like a big change for the worse.  But the finger-sticky sugar number was great he said.

When I was in Florida last week, I heard my Mom's sugar numbers vary quite a lot, too.

Finished with my viewing.  Now listening to music and trying to decide if I need anything else to eat.  Had a breakfast burrito earlier.

It was like when people like Mariel Hemingway would just pop up out of nowhere on Letterman.  Colbert was at a barbecue in New Zealand with the Prime Minister, and he just casually introduces Lorde (the pop singer who had the big hit "Royals" when she was very young) as another person  at the barbecue.  And then he hands Lorde snakes in a can.
