Finished my first book of the year, Carson McCullers’ The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter. Really loved it, especially since reading February House and knowing of how she wrote it while sharing a house with Benjamin Britten, W.H. Auden and Gypsy Rose Lee, among others.

We watched both THE HIGHWAYMEN and THE IRISHMAN on Netflix today.

Both were very good films, but also too long.  Particularly THE IRISHMAN.

I was already reading two books from last year.  I just finished Carl Sagan's Contact, and am now currently reading Nico Tortorella's autobiography, Space Between: Explorations of Love, Sex, and Fluidity.

Younger star and LGBTQIA+ advocate Nico Tortorella investigates love, sex, gender, addiction, family, fame, and fluidity through their personal story and the lens of their nonbinary identity.

It's very interesting and Nico is very open about their (yes, "their") life.  Nico's gender is fluid and uses the "they/them" pronouns.

I borrowed The Heart is a Lonely Hunter to re-read.  First I need to finish The Guardians, Grisham's latest book.

Art least she didn't share the house with Gypsy Rose Lee"s mom Rose Hovick.  Rose probably would have pushed someone out a window.

I’m listening to more of Say Nothing. Getting within a couple of hours from the end and excitement level is still high.

Mom, who has no padding anymore, needs it a little warmer in the house than I like.
