Tevye and His Tuba would be a lively sequel to Fiddler.....

If I had a tuba ...

I slept in late on some much needed Benadryl. My runny nose had been persisting well after it should have been gone if it had been a cold, and I really started thinking I'd had a lousy allergy attack instead. So now I'm groggy but feeling better today, and we'll see what happens.

I hope DR Laura has a great time at Tevye and the Trapp Family Singers.

Tevye and His Tuba would be a lively sequel to Fiddler.....

Or spinoff from Tubby the Tuba. ;)

Yay the sun is shining today.  My shoes are still wet from our walk in the pouring rain yesterday.

The house across the street has the windows on the south side boarded up - the bedroom end of the ranch house.  The roof doesn't seem to be very damaged, but I imagine smoke and water damage may have ruined it.....

The cats rebelled as one and refused to eat their Fancy Feast chicken and liver. Damn!

I'm up, I'm up - got up at one after close to eight hours of sleep.  I was up at seven after three hours with a horrid tummy that I know was due to bad chicken tenders that I'm sure had been sitting there all day - they didn't LOOK like they had, but I think the fowl was foul.  Might try a muffin in a bit.

It was sprinkling a bit as I drove back to work after lunch today and I saw a bit of a rainbow. :)

:(

When we lived in Michigan for the second time the ranch home next door had a major fire.  Eventually it was sold & torn down.  We moved just in time before a two story home was built and we lost our back yard privacy.

A little earlier, I got a call from my mom because her TV remote didn't seem to be working anymore.  My sister's boyfriend set it up for her so that she can use the cable box remote to also control her TV, but something happened and it doesn't seem to be working the way it should.

First, she called Comcast and what they had her do made everything go wonky, so she called me to see if I could come over and look at it.  Tonight after work, I was planning on going to a run-through for Equivocation, but I said that I'd come over.  So, I'll leave early from work to go to my parents' house with enough time to get to the run-through.

Well, about 10 minutes after I e-mailed my supervisor that I was going to leave early and use personal leave, my mom called and told me that she replaced the batteries and everything works the way it should. ::)

But since I put in for the couple of hours off, I'm going to go ahead and take them because my dad's computer is having some problem and maybe I can look at that, so I'll look, then go to the run-through.

I'll leave work in about an hour, and have a couple of hours at my parents'.  That should be enough time to figure out what's going on (or not), and still be able to get to the theater.

Good luck it is an easy fix.

Queasy.  Not eating anything else today unless I'm completely fine by the end of rehearsal.
