Why don't they remake a bad movie, instead of remaking a good movie? Like, make a bad movie into a good movie. Like Man of La Mancha. Another one is Guys and Dolls, which bored me so much I turned it off. Or Brigadoon. Or I heard that Paint Your Wagon didn't follow the musical (never saw either).

I've heard two things about this revival: it's now a one-act and it's horrendous.

I've always felt that Dr Doolittle needed another chance. I love the score, but the movie didn't quite make it for me. I was very surprised to learn of the new DOOLITTLE, but question whether I'll like it any better. We'll see. I shouldn't prejudge.

And now, I'm off to a production meeting, then no run-through. No other rehearsal tonight.

Tomorrow, however, will be the day from hell! We have to get there at 10:00 and go through 6:30...at the latest! I'm supposed to be ushering at 6:00, but the Washington Center knows that I'll be late, and I'm working the second shift, so ushers will already be there.

We went to Beaches and said goodbye to our favorite waitress until she returns after the birth of her baby. We are on FB with her and will see when the happy day arrives.

DR Jane, yes I read When You See Me by Lisa Gardner in November. It was fantastic. But I would suggest that people read D.D. Warren #8,9 and 10 first as they are really connected to this book.

Can you reserve the e-book months before release date? That is what i always do at my library.
