I have been listening to A Warning from Anonymous. It's interesting to hear a conservative say that Trump is insane and mean it. It's something that anyone with a minor knowledge of psych 101 would understand. And the incidents the writer has gone over are certainly compelling illustrations of support.

What I find weakens the arguments, however, is when quotes from reprehensible people like Reagan and Thatcher are tossed in, as if anything they said on the way people should behave would ever be taken seriously by anyone with an ounce of intelligence. Including then shows the author refuses to accept the responsibility such heinous filth had to play in the rise of Trump.

Helped out with the baby shower for friends from one of Joy's dance classes. Eileen has actually be able to dance while in her 7th or 8th month. One of the shower games was to cut off a strip of crepe paper that you thought was the mother-to-be's new circumference. I wanted to know if any extra points would be given for being polite.

Debra Paget dances for a snake in The Indian Tomb.

Now that's choreography. And costuming.

The weather is doing its usual nonsense. Tuesday is supposed to bring a high of 82 degrees, and Wednesday's high will be 53.

Today, my sister wants me to come over and swap out one of her kitchen light fixtures and help with a couple of fence posts.  After that, I'm going to my parents' for a while, then I'll come home and work on the pre-show and intermission music.  I just have to get a couple of specific musical pieces that the director wants, and then I can put it all in the computer on Monday.

Well, I went to my sister's and swapped out the light fixture...and she doesn't like it. :-\ It's in the same line as the main kitchen light (this is over her sink), and it doesn't really match.  Very strange.  But she paid $95 for it, so I don't know if she'll get another one.

She then asked me to go grocery shopping for her (she doesn't really like to do it ::) ), so she gave me her debit card, the PIN, and a list (only about six items).

She felt that the fence posts weren't a problem, so she decided that we didn't need to do anything with those, so I left and came home.

I wasn't feeling like staying out, so I called and left a message with my dad that I wasn't coming over.  My mom wasn't home, so I guess it's a good thing that I didn't go over. ;)

I'm now home and had a snack (not "dinner" fed) and will be working on the music for Equivocation.  I have most of the tracks...I just need to put them in some semblance of order.

We'll see how that goes.  I have no idea how BK does it.  I wish I knew.

Back from our two-run day.  I wanted to be out by four-thirty at the latest but it was five.  Most of the two runs was fine - some low-energy playing, but I've given those notes and I simply think we're ready to do the show already.  We had sound today and I had tons of notes, from volume levels to which cues were used for what.  Some of it was fine but he has a lot of work to do.

We went to Best Buy today.  It was more crowded than I expected but not too bad and, as usual the service was excellent.

It is soooo nice to click, highlight, whatever, with the mouse and have it respond as it should.  On the old computer if I wanted to make a word "bold" I had to highlight the word, keep the mouse there, and then tap the screen with my left hand.  If I was lucky that worked.  I could click on something with my mouse 5-10 times before it did what I asked.

I've started watching Second Time Around, a nursing home comedy/romance with Linda Thorson and Stuart Margolin. I haven't seen either of them in ages, and they seem to be loving the chance to flex those acting muscles. It's not a great flick, but it is enjoyable.

Thorson still has those eyes that made her Tara King on The Avengers so delectable.
