Good friend of the director -- that's hard to beat in an audition DR TCB.

I find Laura Dern so MANNERED in her acting.....I had chosen Scarlet Jo in JOJO RABBIT.....

It might be a bit unfair to agree with you since I didn't watch Marriage Story but I do.  I thought Scarlet was wonderful in Jojo Rabbit.

I thought Brad Pitt was very good, however, I thought Tom Hanks as Mr Rogers was incredible.  I am sorry he didn't win.

Yes, but he has two to go home to.

Now watching The last Train from Madrid, an oldie about the Spanish Civil War with Lew Ayres and Dorothy Lamour.

There were far better supporting performances, including Jamie Lee Curtis in Knives Out.

Absolutely.  I wouldn't have minded her getting it over Scarlet.

I haven't seen Marriage Story. I hate the title, but I am curious about the movie.

Time to leave.

Be back later!

I'm home...finally.  I went to Subway to eat before I came home.

Yes, Scarlet was wonderful in JoJo and much better than she was in Marriage Story.

I did read the opening number was horrendous.

I'm just going to watch starting from where it is right now.  I'll ketchup on the first part of the broadcast later.

Speaking of ketchup, has anyone ever used it to clean off grease that has been baked on pans?

There's a rap song on right now that's getting some moments of silence.  Better that than beeps throughout the song.

Best Original Screenplay:   Parasite

Wow. I thought Knives Out had a lock on that one.

I thought it would be Once Upon a Time in Hollywood!

Too bad for Druxy.

I am still hopping mad about the Chinese food and I'll probably stop by there to complain.

You should!  They need to know.

Ummm no.  Try boiling water in the pan with baking soda.

I read a story where they tried 16 methods of cleaning baked-on grease. Ketchup was the most effective, then baking soda, salt and vinegar together. Baking soda by itself or with boiling water were not as effective. I've got lots of old pans to clean.
