I have a crazy day. Before I leave around noon for the movie, I need to phone the vet and see if I can take Annabelle in tomorrow, drag out the Big Ladder and change the light bulb in the kitchen ceiling, get the cats' food ready for the week, and tidy this dump.

This is the third day now that Annabelle's nosae has been clogged, and her breathing is a total mess. She will only eat dry food out of my hand, and I am at my wit's end over how to help her.

Today I’m off to see a friend’s closing matinee of CHICAGO at Marist College in Poughkeepsie. They mount handsome productions, and their cast is always exquisitely trained. Best of all, they hire out the full orchestra, everything that’s called for, and it’s a nice gig. I played the piano/celesta book in their HELLO, DOLLY! last year and subbed in ANYTHING GOES the year before, and would have played this one if not for my own show.

MR BK wrote Rod Sterling in the notes.....but it is of course Rod Serling.....although I called him the former for many years until i red the TZ credits carefully.

I watched SNL last night because I like John Mullaney who was the guest host. It wasn't very good....but I was amused now and then.

In the cold opening, the man playing Joe Biden declared he was happy with his victory in "South Cracker Barrel." Which was made even more amusing this morning on FOX ON SUNDAY when the real Joe Biden called Chris Wallace by the name "Chuck."

I finished the kitty cleanup, which was not easy this morning. One of the cats had turned over their dish, so I had to wipe up wet salmon, wash their dinner mats, and vacuum. My dustbuster seems to be on its last legs. Then someone - I suspect Thatch - tossed litter out of the box and all over the litter mats, so that was my other cleanup. I'm actually sitting down to some breakfast. At last!

Saw his show twice in one week. It was amazing both times. I’m excited Spike Lee is going to direct a film version.

I must have been truly bleary-eyed this morning to have missed Sterling vs Serling, because that’s something that has never failed to jump out at me.

BK’s is a typo, but I know people even now who will say “Rod Sterling”, and I’m THAT GUY who corrects them.
