Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of the closing of In My Mind's Eye, and now it is time to post until the closing cows come home.

Today is the first day of my work's being closed for at least two weeks, so I won't be there.  I will have to go in for at least one day next week so that I can finish paying the invoices that have come in, and compile the report for the finance office so that the invoices can be paid.

I'll also need to stop in on Wednesday or Thursday because I'm expecting a shipment of cat food from Amazon.

J heard on the news this morning that NY restaurants are closed, except for delivery and take-out.  All elective surgeries are urged to be postponed, but I have no idea if that includes me.  I will call the surgeon today.

I begin my week of cleaning.  Today, after I run out to post three checks, I plan to take the kitchen apart and give it a good cleaning.  This may take two days.

If the surgery is postponed, I will at least have done my spring cleaning.

I've been planning to write an Appalachian requiem for my dad since 2007.  Now that I'm essentially stuck here at home, I just might actually turn my research into a finish piece.

Speaking of voice recognition:  a couple of years ago I received a voice mail from my friend Todd regarding our upcoming trip to NYC.  According to the written transcript he said "there's a new show we might like called "Anesthesia.'"   I thought that was a strange title for a show.  Of course it should have been "Anastasia."
