I watched the rest of Motherless Brooklyn. One last comment: It helped knowing how much Robert Moses hated his family and especially his brother. It made the story in the film a little more understandable.

Thanks.

We’ve started watching Hamish MacBeth  on Amazon Prime

The author, Rhys Bowen, has another series that I quite like, the Lady Georgiana series. No adaptations of it, however.

This series looks like something I would enjoy.

I looked for stores with senior shopping hours. There were several listed, but none remotely near me. I then went to Ralph's website (I know, they spell it without the apostrophe). It told me that I could pick up my groceries in Indio! That's several hours away! Other Ralph's stores offer pick-up, but not the one near me. I think this must be what DR Ginny described, but the website offers no explanation. (Who proofs this website??)

I, too, find 7 am unfeasible. But for now I'm OK. I just like to know what my options are. I do need to go to Trader Joe's one day, but am dreading it. Ugh!

Around 11:00 on Monday our Trader Joe's was ok.

Our nephew in Canada has been placed under 14 day quarantine as he is exhibiting “ minor flu symptoms “

Was he tested?
Vibes for your nephew.

I feel that soon we will be the most popular site on all the Internet.  Since saying I wasn't doing Facebook save for looking at my page and maybe, unavoidably seeing a post at the top of my feed when I go there, others have joined me.

We know someone who just went into quarantine because her boyfriend has a co-worker that tested positive.   Their pair of newly adopted cats will be happy.

DR JOHN G & DR VIXMOM and other DRs who enjoy chili.....do you like to put corn in your chili?

No. But I don’t hate it. I hate sugar in my chili.

I love brown sugar in mine

Give me kidney beans and give me corn, but HOLD the sugar of any kind.

I suppose I should learn my lines by then, but I really doubt we are going to open on May 1.

Our new opening night is now scheduled for May 1.

That's great, Tom!  I haven't heard of any change with Mamma Mia!, so I assume that those dates haven't changed.

I'm following along with a script, but they are very different, as far as the lines are concerned. :-\

I wonder if the second one that I just ordered is closer to the version of the play that I'm watching...I'll find out soon enough.
