At Walgreens today we picked up the photo of Freyja to send to my friend.  We also printed a larger one and now have our first framed photo :)

I had a wild ride at work today. Meetings all day, and they were actually good meetings. Work got done and everybody on my team did their best. Everybody who was virtually there, that is.

I was down an extra person. People took her work requests and finished them.

My boss even pitched in and edited something very important for me, the COVID-19 piece. She set aside an hour to read it and was finished actually in less than 10 minutes. She saw why I wanted to work with the writer I chose. And I think it made her feel more a part of the team.

I went to dance lesson afterwards. We were the only people in the place. It was rather sad. The parking lot of the whole plaza was practically empty, but there were still people at the gym.

Our gyms have been closed.  I can't imagine dancing right now.

I've finally had an evening to watch the 42nd St. DVD you made for me, George. Oh, my goodness, what memories. This was the first show I ever saw on Broadway, and while the British cast is OK, there's no one like Jerry Orbach or Lee Roy Reams, who danced up a storm, especially in We're in the Money and the title number.

Not everyone I saw was in the original cast. Millicent Martin was Dorothy Brock and Lisa Brown from The Guiding Light was Peggy.

I don't want to tell tales, but i hear rumors that Jerome Robbins was not the sweet guy he seemed to be.

OK, so the new English is that social distancing is having a wedding in Boro Park, and sheltering in place means go out for nice long jog.

I'm not sure I like the changes Randy Skinner made to the choreography of the title tune. The addition of the stairs was nifty, but it missed the emotional impact by not having the soldier boy die.

The nice thing about Lean Cuisines are you can have two and it's only 600 calories.

But they are often at least 6 feet away from each other in the title tune.

Our workout room is rather small and we are too close to the person next to us.  Not ideal these days.

The phone conference meeting was not technically good.....

Right now there is talk of dropping the Sept. show and just moving everything one month ahead.

They don't seem to understand that having auditions in May is not much different than having them in April....and we just don't know what things are going to be like.....

It's a mess - but it's a mess that all performing organizations are in......so we shall see.....we are meeting again on April 1.

Jack, you are quite correct.  Rehearsals starting up again in early April, and opening MURDER on May 1, is not going to work any better than the original dates.  Also, keeping the six foot space between audience members is a joke.

Looks like Applause will probably move into July IF the show that was supposed open in April opens in May - I'm hoping this insanity is calmed down by May, just as it is in, you know, China, where everything is back open and getting back to normal after two-and-a-half months of this thing.

Yes, but the Chinese government placed people in quarantine by force.  We are far from that apparently effective method.

Jennifer, picking up my order at the store defeats the whole reason why I have it delivered.  The delivery driver puts it all in my kitchen, so I can easily put it away by myself.  Picking it up requires me to get the food from the parking lot up to where my condo os located.

This morning Annabelle finally ate a healthy breakfast.  She sounds like garbage, her breathing is congested, and I cannot afford the vet at the moment, so I was surprised she ate.  I hope this bodes food since I do not want to come home from hospital and find her dead.

~~~Continued Vibes for Annabelle!!~~~
