Well, the Barn Theatre production of Henry V is over. I usually don't mind theaters that stage shows where actors have to play multiple characters, but this one somehow crossed a line. There were only eight actors for about 25+ parts. Several actors with beards were so visually distinct that I couldn't tell if they were a follower of Falstaff, a British soldier, a French soldier, a member of the French court. The costumes, especially of the soldiers, were too close to each other. But the power of the script took over, and the last 45 minutes or so had a very sharp focus and contained that Shakespearean power.
