Has anyone seem The Best Years of a Life from Claude Lelouch? Its the story of A Man and a Woman 50 years later and stars Anouk Aimee and Jean-Louis Trintignant.

Haven't even heard of it.  I know they did a twenty years later one.

No  And  don't recall watching the sequel "A Man and a Woman: 20 Years Later".

Same here. Of course I haven't tried any such thing. But it seems daunting.

I need a nap.  I attempted to take one and instead ended up reading.

That is what I was hoping for.  I did doze for a few seconds here and there but something kept waking me up.

DR Jrand how do you go an entire month without going to the grocery store?  Is it that people are picking up fresh vegetables, milk, & eggs for you?

Tell me what you're trying to do with Zoom rehearsals and maybe I can be of some help.  It was crazy the first time but I've got the hang of it now.

Thatch has had dinner and a treat without barfing more, so I hope he;s gone through whatever it was, poor baby.

Jane, I agree with you about grocery shopping being stressful these days. I dread it. I've been doing as much of my shopping as possible online for many years, and now even more so. But there are shortages there, too, which means I often have to switch to a more expensive brand or go to an actual store (!!). I've been shopping at Whole Foods more lately, because I never had to wait in line to get into the store--until today. Their prices are higher than what I'm used to, too. But I saw toilet paper on the shelves there at 2pm! Those shelves have been bare for the past two months.

Tonight we're watching The Americanization of Emily, a film I've always wanted to see but never got to.  I'm blaming BK for getting me into gear to watch it.

I also saw TP on the shelf today but passed on buying any.

My dentist reopened his office yesterday. Yay! I was scheduled for a cleaning and looking forward to it when Covid hit and he closed. The hygienist I see there is excellent, but books up months in advance. I was very pleased to get an appointment with her for yesterday. I'm sure many people are nervous about returning, but this office has always had the highest standards.

I usually grab a sandwich at the deli across the street, but they were closed--I think. One sign said "We're here" and the other said "CLOSED."  ;D  I opted for a couple of the mini pies at the undoubtedly open bakery to eat later.

There are those who are expecting people to rush out to restaurants, stores, beaches once they reopen, but I question that. Some will, of course. In Australia people jammed the malls the day they reopened, but I think that many people will still feel cautious. I wouldn't feel safe eating in a restaurant yet or being in any crowds.

I truly hope that the toilet paper shortage is history.

Just back from Costco. It was easy and underpopulated.

I’m stating to watch Aaron Tveit in a musical version of The Three Musketeers. The opening number is drab, the music is dreary, the lyrics sloppy. I don’t know how much of this I can take.
