Our libraries reopen June 15. The stories don’t say if you have to wear a mask, but you do have to have your temperature taken. There will be no browsing, only pickup of reserved items.

I am waiting to hear when my library will re-open. But I really don't want to go inside. So i am hoping that they will do curbside pickup only.

I think my library system experimented with curbside pickup, but I never heard where the locations were. I don't know if it worked or not. But I do know it wasn't in my neighborhood.

DRs - what doe you use to clean the inside of your oven window?

I never heard of using deer for cleaning purposes.

Oh, deer. I can't fawn enough over that response.

Perhaps it helps if you're bambidextrous.

That literally made my LOL

Good luck they offer it.

I read yesterday that there was supposed to be an announcement today about restaurants opening for dine in service again.  Did that not happen?

No mail, no packages.  Not looking good, I'm afraid, in terms of the packages.

Went to Jerry's Deli and got four slices of lox, came home, and had to bagels with lox and cream cheese - very good!

Did they say anything about opening up soon for dine in service?

Yep, as of today restaurants can reopen for dine-in service, having to observe certain rules.  I'm thrilled about it and will happily be a guinea pig.  I do think it will take a week or two for all the restaurants to gear up, make their staff aware of the rules, figure out their seating, and the sanitary stuff.

But no one is ready to open, I think - they'll have to rehire, train, and then open.  I'm hoping Jerry's is amongst the first, but the gal there today said management has not said a word.  If any of my favorite jernts opens this coming week, they WILL have the pleasure of my company.

Just got out of the office happy hour. There were 11 of us for part of it. That's been fun.

And now, I'm off to my parents' house for lasagna, mini-cheesecakes, and Phase 10.

Be back later!

Well, the mini-cheesecakes were a success! :D

We had lasagna brought my my mom's friend Mona's neighbor, Dee.  My mom made a salad and provided the diet Pepsi.  I brought the mini-cheesecakes, which everyone loved, and Mona brought strawberries for the cheesecakes.  It was all quite delish!

Thanks, Jane!  So do I!  I'm wearing it right now.

Great shirt and wow! You look great George!

Thanks, Vixmom!

The ones underneath are regular plain, and the ones on top have a chocolate crust with chocolate cookie bits mixed into the batter.

Yum on both.

They do look good, but actually the chocolate ones really weren't chocolatey, at all.  They were okay, but I'm sure that if I used Oreos, they would've been much better.  The plain ones were the hit.
