George I like your new t-shirt.

Thanks, Jane!  So do I!  I'm wearing it right now.

Great shirt and wow! You look great George!

You do, George.

Thanks, John, too, but I have gained back a little.

DRs - what doe you use to clean the inside of your oven window?

I never heard of using deer for cleaning purposes.

Oh, deer. I can't fawn enough over that response.

Perhaps it helps if you're bambidextrous.

The BBC now has an online film festival, but I think it's only documentaries.

That's pretty cool!  Thanks for sharing, Jeanne!

I like the t-shirt and you look much, much thinner, George!

Thanks, Jeanne, but I'm not.  It's all about the angle you take the picture from...and black is slimming. ;)

So, in answer to yesterday's TOD, I can say Avenue Q. I loved it. I had avoided the show for no reasons other than the cast album wasn't all that overwhelming and I loathed Book of Mormon. But Avenue Q was exactly what it set out to be. It had purpose, and it handled it with a tone that worked throughout. Plus, those songs worked very well in context. The production in the video was out of some theater in Utah, and it was charming, never dragged. And, yes, I laughed heartily at the "Trump -- for now" lyric at the end.

Yep, as of today restaurants can reopen for dine-in service, having to observe certain rules.  I'm thrilled about it and will happily be a guinea pig.  I do think it will take a week or two for all the restaurants to gear up, make their staff aware of the rules, figure out their seating, and the sanitary stuff.

I found out that Eagan's here in Tumwater (one of my favorite local burger joints) has opened for dine-in seating.  I don't know what rules they have to follow, though.  I'll fine out the next time I go.  It will be soon!

I think I'm going to watch Avenue Q tonight. I have never seen the show.

A national tour came to Olympia and it was hysterical!  But I like that kind of humor. ;D

I am very surprised at the Supreme Court ruling that was just announced. So, states have the right to protect their citizens. Wow. All of the folks who scream for states' rights must be choking on their own hypocrisy because they don't want to follow the states' rules.

And now, I'm off to my parents' house for lasagna, mini-cheesecakes, and Phase 10.

Be back later!

Well, the mini-cheesecakes were a success! :D

The ones underneath are regular plain, and the ones on top have a chocolate crust with chocolate cookie bits mixed into the batter.

Yum on both.

They do look good, but actually the chocolate ones really weren't chocolatey, at all.  They were okay, but I'm sure that if I used Oreos, they would've been much better.  The plain ones were the hit.

It is fun to experiment, especially with two options.

Tomorrow, I may take a drive and see what, if anything, is open, restaurant-wise.

Just watched the press reel from She Loves Me, which I'd never seen before. I saw the show after it moved to Broadway, the version that BK recorded. Judy's replacement, Diane Frat-something, was just nowhere near as touching or as vocally resplendent, as the video makes clear. But, boy, did I ever like Boyd Gaines, Howard McGillan and Sally Mayes.

They are actually price gouging 409 cleaner - eBay.  They charge three bucks and then the shipping is $20 - a little surprised that e-Bay is allowing that sort of nonsense.  It's so stupid.

In downtown Vancouver restaurants are going to be permitted to use a section of parking spaces for tables.  I hope this safely gives them more business.

My dear friend, Larry, I wish I could be there, at your side, when you go in for your surgery.  But please know that you will be in my thoughts and my prayers until you are safely home with us.  Love you, Lar!
