And now listening to music - Barbirolli's magnificent set of the Sibelius symphonies - I had the set already, but this remastering is, in subtle ways, better - cleaner, clearer, and crisper.

But she said she'll just put her big girl panties on and do it.

That was nice of her.

I also think the script, for all its nonsense, is fairly well constructed. And the casting of Michael Caine, William Shatner and Candice Bergin works beautifully.

Fun, sweet nonsense.

So, strange, but I checked out Facebook, which I do on a monthly basis. There was a posting from a group for people who used to work at the San Antonio paper. I looked at the page and there were eight obituary notices posted since late May. I wonder what's happening.

You made onion rings out of sautéed onions?

I was going to start making the Pick Your Flavor Pie for my dad's birthday celebration tomorrow, and then make and eat my burgers while the pie was cooking (as late as it is), but I didn't realize that even though the pie dough had been in my fridge since last night, it STILL needs to defrost on the counter for another hour!! :o

So, since it's warming up on the counter I made my cheeseburgers with my newly acquired mayo!
