This was the dealing with Petula day and therefore a most pleasant day in every way.

I've had the air on since three o'clock - it was eighty-one in here at that time.  Five hours later, it's 77 - how can it take that long to cool off this house and I really want it down to seventy-five.

99-degrees outside at nine at night.  Yeah, that's normal.

Back from a drive.  Every single place on Ventura Blvd. that has outdoor dining is JAMMED.  And if those tables are six-feet apart I'll eat my hat.  Does anyone still wear a hat?  And how about the tables of from four to six - not all those  people are related, no one is masked and they're hardly six-feet apart.  And yet the numbers are going down.  I do wonder if the numbers people will say there was a spike this weekend - I wouldn't put it past them, frankly, just to keep that fear going.

I'm pleased to see all the outdoor dining, as I REALLY want to see small businesses survive. I agree it's not being done as safely as it should be, but that's partly the patrons' fault, from what I've seen.

I think that people are getting really tired, really frustrated with the lockdown and that's overriding the caution they may have once felt.

At this point I have to think that many, many of us have been exposed to some degree and may have developed some antibodies. Unless we're all tested it's really hard to say. If my theory is correct, the case numbers may not rise even though people are not being as compliant. Just a theory. Myself, I'm still being cautious.

It takes a long time when the temps are extreme outside and you let it get hot inside before turning the air on.

When I decided on the September 13 date for our tenth anniversary show, there was exactly ONE other even that day and that was a paid thing so not of worry to me.  In the last WEEK, September 13 has, apparently, become the day everyone must do their event.  I have never seen such stupidity in all my life, I mean, it's beyond stupidity.  There are at least SIX major events now, like there aren't any OTHER days of the damn week?  Not Tuesday?  Not Friday or Saturday?  It HAS to be Sunday and HAS to be the 13th.  I am nauseated by these people, NAUSEATED.  I think for the next Kritzerland I will simply not announce the date.  Then I'll let everyone do the pile on and if I have to adjust I will adjust at the last minute.

Got it down to 76, turned the air off an hour ago, currently 79.  Five and a half hours to go from 81 to 76, one hour to go from 76 to 79.  Outrageous and rather stupid.  We need this to be done.  I know there's another day of it tomorrow and then hopefully some sanity will return.

I think I am in serious trouble, and I am uncertain how to proceed. My right leg does not want to support me, bs nt life is going to hell rapidly.  My fifth floor neighbor Ann brought up an Amazon carton and envelope for me yesterday sfternoon, and my third floor neighbor Roberta said she would pick up my mail this afternoon.  Problem is, I don't want to become reliant on them or make them feel I'm taking advantange of them.

Well, when it is 111 degrees outside of your house, it is going to take a long time to cool off.

George, I like the Kona Supply Co. site.  Unfortunately I didn't see size options for masks.

I didn't either.  I guess if you wanted, you could get them altered to fit, but that would cost...and you'd have to find someone to do it.  Be easier to find the fabric you liked and just make them yourself. :-\

George, I am sorry you have gained some of your weight back.  I know how hard it is to lose these days, however, I worry about the weight combined with diabetes if you get the virus.  Please be very careful.

Thanks again, Jane.  I think I've been careful about both issues.

I enjoyed DR George's fashion show.  I also like the mix of mask & shirt fabric as well as the matching ones.

Thanks number 3!!

I love George's shirts and masks. Thanks for letting us know about your supplier. Now I must decide which ones I want most. How did you learn about them?

Thanks, Jeanne!  Narrowing down the choices was a problem for me, too.  I think I found it from an ad on either FB or Twitter.
