Spent the last two hours working on the Kritzerland show, trying to figure out how long it's going to be - we won't know an exact length until the show airs, obviously, but it's going to come in around an hour and forty minutes I think

Let's see what the temperature outside is at nine o'clock: A frosty 99 degrees.

Current temperature at 10:00 after an hour of NO POSTS: A chilly 95 degrees.

House temperature is 77.

And I'm ever so sure everyone here has read today's two cast stories on my Facebook page, although you wouldn't know it from the number or lack thereof of "likes."  I'll tell you how the damn Facebook algorithms work - put a name like Petula Clark in the post, along with a photo, and EVERYONE will see it - we're over 350 likes on that one.

I believe I liked them, if not let me know.

I did place an order for the Hawaiian facial masks. They said they were 20% off on Labor Day. Would that be tomorrow only? No discount appeared. Oh, well. They're lovely masks and reasonably priced.

Maybe you will find the sale tomorrow.

I’m still feeling exhausted

With all you do this isn't surprising.   I hope you sleep tonight and begin to have more energy tomorrow.

I won the grand prize drawing. It’s a picnic basket with blanket, plates and cutlery plus a bottle of wine.

Is that also virtual or do you pick it up for real

I was waiting for a pie to bake.

Good.  I try to catch the posts and like them.

Wait, I thought you said I did.  I will go look for them.

Bruce I see two identical ones, one hour apart, and liked both of them.

My eyes have been burning.  I think I will close them.

And speaking of burgers...today, my friend Margo and I will be going to Applebee's for some burgers.  They're having a sale on their Handcrafted Burgers.  My favorite is the Quesadilla Burger, but I'd read that they're going to permanently remove this burger (and some other items) from their menu sometime soon. So, I'll have it one last time.  We're going to get them to go and eat them on Margo's front porch.  That'll be fun!

I was planning on doing nothing today before leaving for dinner with my friend Margo, but fate (meaning my sister and her daughter) intervened.

Anyway, my sister and niece wanted me to go to the store for them...to get vanilla vodka, chocolate liqueur, triple sec...and peanut butter.

My niece said that she hadn't had a chocolate martini in over six months and was just having a craving, and since they don't really like to go shopping, I said that I'd go.

[George]

Well, I found the vanilla vodka at Fred Meyer where they've always gone, but I couldn't find the chocolate liqueur or ANY triple sec.

[George]

I looked all through their alcohol section and just didn't see either.

[George]

Later, when I was having burgers with Margo and her eldest daughter Alexis, Alexis suggested that the triple sec was probably in a different section of the store and not in the alcohol section. 

[George]

Not being a drinker, I wouldn't have known that.

[George]

When I brought the vodka and peanut butter (they just needed peanut butter...it wasn't going to be part of any drink), my sister said that her boyfriend could go to The Wine Shop close to where he lives.
