Well, you've read the notes, the notes were unsuspecting, and now it is time for you to post until the unsuspecting cows come home.

Today, it's back to work...of course.  But right now, I'm going to bed.

Have a good day, all!

I slept rather well, but I had truly weird dreams, of which I remember very little.  I did wake around 12:30 and told Thatch, I just had a doozy of a dream, and I told him what I remembered.  He preferred to sleep, so I took a Tizanidine and went back to sleep.

Last night around 6:00 I had a fall that could have been serious, but I was very lucky.  I sat down on the edge of the bathtub to refill the cats' water bowl in the bathroom.  I sat back too far and fell into the bathtub.  It could have been serious if my head had struck the faucet or the side of the tub against the wall.  Instead I landed on my left elbow and hip, missing the faucet.

So I lay there, splayed out with my legs in the air and my back in the tub while I had to mentally examine myself for any damage.  Then I had to figure out the logistics of extracting myself.  It took some time to get all of myself into the tub and into my usual bathing position, but I finally managed that.  I figured, this should be no problem now.

Well, I was wearing socks. I was not in not my bare feet, and I could get no traction on the floor of the tub.  My feet kept sliding, and it took forever to pull myself out of the tub.  As sopon as I did, I offered up a silent prayer to whomever is watching over me.  This is my third fall since 2017 that could have been serious but wasn't.

After that, I washed the cats' dinner bowls, gave them a treat, and we watched an episode of Jeeves and Wooster.  The estate that served as Downton Abbey was used in this episode as Sir Watkyn Bassett's country estate.

This past weekend, I've started writing the 31st play in THE HOLLYWOOD LEGENDS Collection.

The subject is somebody I knew.

Stay tuned.

Was reading a cookbook from the 1920s yesterday and came across some atrocious variations of deviled eggs, or stuffed eggs, as they called them. Mash the yolks with your choice of ground sausage, sardines in mustard sauce or catsup (aka ketchup). Then do what? Serve them to the enemy? Hand them out on Halloween as tricks?

Tuesday morning greetings!  After several weeks of difficulties, my iPhone appears to be dead.  It’s weird to be unable to receive calls or texts.  Thank goodness for email and Facebook.  We have an appointment at the Apple store on Thursday.
