I once rode an escalator at Lincoln Center with bk's close personal friend, Mr. Stephen J. Sondheim.

I was too in awe to attempt to speak to him.

Sing, we need to update you. JB is a parrot. But who knows what plans they have for driving assistance.

Vibes to John G and company for a smooth drive home.

So, during tonight's video call, it was neither Ga-Ga nor Ga-Pa who was requested. It was Ming Ming. The cat.

Perhaps that's why you're having trouble sleeping. I often have trouble sleeping ahead of an appointment, even if I don't feel nervous about it.

Thanks for the doctor appointment vibes. The surgeon will tell me about what happened, what they found, and what may or may not be in store for the future. I am hoping prostate surgery is not required. If it is, I am afraid that will be more invasive and with a worse recovery period than the last surgery.

I will definitely be renewing my dental insurance for 2021.  I have a crown re-do and a gum graft in my future. Both big-ticket items.

I understand your anxiety. You seem to be coming through the last surgery very well, though.

Ugh. I hope you have a good dentist. My previous dentist was excellent, but he had to retire suddenly about two years ago due to medical issues. The dentist I see now is the one who bought the practice and he seems very good, too. I think it's even more important to trust your dentist and have a good rapport with him/her than with many doctors. A lot of what they do I would classify as oral surgery, even though they don't call it that.

Judging from the comments I have seen online, I am really happy with my decision not to watch one moment of the "debate."

Judging from the comments I have seen online, I am really happy with my decision not to watch one moment of the "debate."

I lasted about 35 minutes or so, and just HAD to turn it off. :P I couldn't even stand just listening to Trump.  He was always interrupting Biden...it was like watching a baby trying to talk to adults.  One of the commentators on MSNBC just said that this wasn't a debate, and that we can't go through this two more times.
