I'm up, I'm up - didn't get up until two, after ten hours of sleep.  Feeling so much better these past three days.

Well, the Fat Orange Slug says he will do a medical review on Fox News. "I'm not a doctor, but I play one on Fox News?"

A jug of White Lightnin' corn liquor that was gifted to Edith Farmer from her sister Frances Farmer, when Frances visited her at Christmas in 1961.

Edith had used it as a candle holder in subsequent years - I corresponded with her for a few years before her death, and one day she sent me this with the story.....for some reason.

That was nice of her to send it to you.

Kitty cleanup is over and the bed is made.  I'm trying to work up my enthusiasm for traveling two blocks on a walker.

I would really like to see you find an intern, someone who could run errands and help in various ways.

Well, it's time for me to leave work and go to my mom's.  Amazon says that a package is out for delivery, but it's not here yet, so I'll have to wait until Monday to get it.  I hate it when that happens. :P

Be back later.

I went to the bagel bakery this morning, on my way to the hairdresser. Then stopped at my favorite food store on the way home. I haven't seen an almond croissant there since Covid started.

My hairdresser, Richard, was telling me about various clients he's had over the years. Helen Reddy was one of them. He worked for the studios for a number of years and was called in one day about dying a gorilla's hair. Yes, a live gorilla. For some reason, they wanted the gorilla's chest to be darker. Richard declined the job, but told a friend about it. The friend agreed, but ended up with a broken arm. The gorilla did not like having his hair dyed.

I actually went to bed early last night. I had to choose a not-so-interesting book, so I could put it down at a reasonable hour. I slept well for almost 8 hours. It was heavenly. Perhaps I need to read dullish books more often.

I am very fond of much quirky advertising art, especially that which puts the company's name on everyday objects.

He was smart to decline.
