I also thought I deserved a treat, so I got a small chocolate mousse - it probably put me close to 1300 calories, but that's fine. I haven't done any real splurge days. And not having pasta with butter tomorrow will be good.

I had a treat tonight as well. I went to a farmers market today to get produce.

There was a stand there with rum cakes, Vixdad’s favorite. I bought a vanilla rum cake and decided to treat myself to a slice. Noom estimated it at 310 calories, but even with the cake I was under 1000 for the day and I walked about 7 miles today so hopefully it won’t show up on my scale tomorrow

The neighborhood kids all came over to see what we were doing. Then they came back when it started to get dark. The trick-or-treating started early this year and it was done by 8 p.m.

We always have some non-food treats for kids who can't have sweets. Plus Sandra got a huge box of potato chip bags on Prime Day, and she didn't like a bunch of the flavors. She put those on the table. Most kids took a reasonable amount of candy from the bowl, a cookie, and some chips. Some of the non-food things disappeared too, I think.

It seemed to be all neighborhood kids, and we visited with some of the parents, too.

It sounds like a great Halloween to me.
