Thank you, DR Jeanne. Rebecca and I have been friends for 46 years and most recently have kept in touch by texting, playing Words with Friends, and weekly video chatting. I knew over the weekend something was amiss when she didn’t respond to my texts and didn’t make a Words play. I suspect she kept quiet because she didn’t want to put a damper on my weekend. She’s like that.

Different locations have different closing times. Also if you are in line before the closing time I think they have to let you vote.

True and true. They've been announcing the states that close as they close, so it's been a running total as the results come in, knowing that there will be more votes in the next several days for some states.

Just finished Maigret Sets a Trap. Jean Gabin was perfect as the inspector. In one scene, at 10 p.m. and after beer and snacks, he gets up from behind his desk and you can see his belt is loose, but his suspenders are still holding his pants up. What a great detail.

The mystery was really gripping, too.

I glanced at Facebook - everyone is doing what they did four years ago - negativity rules. Not good. If everyone would stay positive positive things would happen.
