In the next several months I had several clandestine conversations with the pastor and various members requesting my husband perform the same service for them

So for a while there my husband was making secret visits to the church late at night to shoot at errant balloons

That was before a strict “no balloon” policy was put  in place

DR Vixmom, you call the electric company and tell them you are not sure which lines they are in, but there's things caught in the overhead line. They'll come and remove it, I imagine.

That might work, thank you

Getting her here and home would be a problem. She goes to school, so she's exposed to a lot of people. She might be able to ride her bike.

I forgot about school.  So many are still learning from home.

I would think so.  You don't need to mention who you voted for.

I did that about mylar balloons at the church. They were there in less than an hour.

I am impressed with their speed.

My husband shot the Mylar balloons with his BB machine gun

I confessed the method we used at a council meeting where the reaction was disapproving amusement and a overall appreciation for the fact that it worked without damaging the ceiling or compromising the ceiling fans

:o  I was thinking they were outside.  I think I would have had the same reaction :)

I woke up before 4:00AM and couldn't get back to sleep.

I'm tired, and going to bed.

Good night, all!

Just finished watching Rick McKay's Broadway: The Golden Age. Amazing collection of people, their memories and the clips shown. Among the extras, the opening night party is as telling in its own way as the movie. I love seeing Peter Jackson talking up Fay Wray the year before his version of King Kong opened.

I found a copy in a clearance bin at a local Half Price Books.

I forgot that I sent McKay some money many, many moons ago (and I'm talking maybe $25). Lo and behold, my name actually appears on a credit list for the movie that he never finished, but which is featured as a work in process in the extras. The list of donors is there in alphabetical order and there it is.

This is ridiculous, and the blame lands at the feet of the Fat Orange Slug who should be executed for treason, human trafficking, rape, crimes against humanity, and God knows how many other offenses.  The National Guard should be called in for the safety of the vote counters to arrest and jail these neanderthals.

Apparently, it was Fox News that originally called Arizona for Biden.
