This morning I read about BK’s opinion of MALCOLM AND MARIE and last evening  I get to see Zendaya interviewed on the Stephen Colbert show.

How was the interview, Tom?

Kind of flaky.

Also delivered today:

Der Silbersee (Weill) and Renée Fleming's "I Want Magic" - American Opera Arias.

There's more on the way. Things are taking their time these days, in addition to a one-day delay in local deliveries here due to the snowstorm.

What is this about a musical featuring Malcolm Gets and Marie Osmond?

Actually, I believe, it was Malcolm X and Marie Antoinette.

TCB:  I know this goes back several years, but did you ever find the recording or video of your Maraczek?

I've had no mail since Saturday.  I expect the postman to be quite late today.

So my question for ASK BK DAY is:  Did you have a favorite game show that you watched as a young person?

And did you have any of the Home Versions of any of the TV quiz/game shows?

Malcolm Muggeridge and Marie Curie.

I loved all the game shows of my childhood - Treasure Hunt I watched often, The Price is Right, Beat the Clock, Tic-Tac-Dough, Truth or Consequences. I don't think we had any board game versions of those.

Listening to BK's interview the other day, I was inspired to leave a brief, to-the-point review of Lolita, My Love on Amazon as a signpost for anyone still looking for the best release to buy. It's up now.

With cream cheese frosting?  Are the bars similar in flavor to the cake?

Yes, cream cheese frosting.  I’ll let you know about the flavor, but the batter looked and smelled like carrot cake to me.

Well I guess a minor major miracle is better than NO miracle at all.

Agreed.

I just enjoyed watching several parts of the 1976 Bette Midler HBO special for my first time since ... 1976.  :)

A few weeks later a friend was visiting and liked the cats....and they liked him.....my uncle said there are plenty if you want one and gave him directions to the trailer park.

A few days later he asked his friend if he got his cat.   His friend said no.  He stopped and the man told him that two days after my uncle got his cats - someone poisoned ALL of his cats, the adults and the kittens.  He had only his one indoor kitty left......

Two kitties escaped because of my uncle......

Oh, my goodness!  That's terrible! :(

Well last night I was looking on some Roku Channels and this show popped up....from 1956-57.....Giant Step with Bert Parks.

I had never heard of it.  It is entertaining and horrifying all at the same time.  The comments on the YouTube video answered my question about what happened to the young man who was the winner on the show.....

The thinking music may be familiar to readers here at HHW.

Oh, my goodness! :o I can't imagine those kinds of questions being asked of ANYONE now!
