Do you have a treadmill in your apartment?

Alas, no. :-X

I wonder if these are the same folks who were advocating  for cancelling The View and Ellen and boycotting Disney over “gay days” ...

 >:(

I had no idea Disney had "gay days".  I think it is a great idea.

That’s probably the wrong name

Or be pretty inexpensive

I am guessing you just want one that sits on the counter?  If so you can probably find something inexpensive.  I see them at Best Buy.

The one we have is 1200 watts...it’s a GE that was manufactured in November 2013, I assume we bought it shortly thereafter.  We bought it. In Sears, which was always our go to for appliances and tools.  Unfortunately poor management decisions led to the degrading of their standards and the closure of their stores.

Saturday afternoon greetings!  It's ver-r-r-ry cold here in SW Ohio today, but the sun is shining.

Is Sears available online?

Good Morning - the boys and I hung out in bed longer than we should have.  They went to camp yesterday instead of Thursday, so they are tired.  Hopefully they will chill today.  My weekly COVID test came back negative, so that's cool.  I got a text saying it's possible we will be heading back in to the church soon (100 people, distanced, masks, etc) and that is really exciting news.  Not that we don't love ministering in the chilly and sometimes wet school yard, but it will be nice to start heading back to normal - however long it takes is fine by me.  I'm hoping to get the pipe organ fired up as well.

What's not to like about the cold and damp? You could always do what the song says and turn your collar to it.

My neighbors Ann and Jen brought me some delicious cheese puffs that Jen made.  I shared part of one with Stella, who believes anything I eat must be good for her.  Last night she ate part of my Rice Krispie treat, but she's ambivalent about Doritos.  She does, however, like taco chips but not guacamole.

I'm greatly enjoying getting reacquainted with Albert Herring via this other recording. Really nice.

Today we're celebrating Kristi's 50th birthday -- which is actually yesterday, but she did a big online thing with friends last night, and our own little par-tay here is this evening. For dinner we're ordering Texas Roadhouse.

Nathan's 50th, by the way, is in two weeks. And thus our annual birthday and holiday bash comes to a close. We all have our birthdays, plus Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year's, in a three-month span.

Ordered food from California Pizza Kitchen, but really calorie-friendly for once - the cedar plank salmon with veggies. Less than six hundred calories.

Took the bike out for an hour or so. I don't think I've been on a bike for maybe 30 years.

It was a relearning experience. I could ride alright, but I had to learn how to shift gears on this one, how to handle corners and how to handle stops. I think I'm going to stay just in the neighborhood for a few days.

And I think I'm going to have to soak for a long time tonight.
