Good idea. Is it windy there? I put my mask on during my walk when no one was around me. It cut the chill from the wind.

Actually, it turns out that it was to keep the snow out of the covered area next to the coop. It hasn't been that windy, yet.

Yes. It started snowing this morning and had been snowing all day. I don't know if it's snowing now, though.

The structure on the right side of that last picture is the chicken run (I always forget that name) where the chickens can go during the day and be safe from the sun.

We put the tarp on that side because that side doesn't have anything to keep out the wind or rain or snow.
