I had no idea how old Fred's dad was - 100, to be exact. That's something! I gather the real drama here is what Skip posted on Facebook, that Fred's brother is a real jerk and kept this from Fred until the last minute.

 My sister made sure I was not with my father when he died.

DR TCB, I saw the original Broadway cast in A Little Night Music, and I thought Ms Johns was absolutely glorious.  Much as I love Lansbury who was perfection in Sweeney Todd, I can't see, or vocally hear, her as Desiree. Six months after I saw A Little Night Music, I saw it again, and Johns was out.  I saw the beautiful Barbara Lang, her standby, who gave a competent performance and no more.

Tonight I watched FOLLIES (2011). It was obviously recoded by someone in the audience.  You can hear all of the music, but for the dialogue, you have crank up the volume, and it is still hard to understand all of it.

My poor neighbors, when I forgot to turn it down before the music started.

I have neighbors on both sides of me, and have to be concerned about the noise level, also.  That's one thing that I don't like about community living.

I suppose I could get headphones, again.  Actually, I think I have some that I bought for my dad.  I wonder if I can hook them up to my TV.  I'll have to find them and see.

I will say that this production did better with the ghosts, and they actually made the Loveland section make sense.  Watching it made me realize what a loss Jan Maxwell’s passing was.

I've seen clips of that production.  I agree about Jan Maxwell.

What I saw was more aerobics, to me, than walking.  How do you walk in place unless on a treadmill?

You're actually marching more than walking in place.  I used to have a set of her videos...actual VHS videotapes!

I would rather move even if I don't go far.  I mix up a bit of running and dancing with my speed walking/pacing.

I thought you meant you wanted to move out of the condo.  LOL!
