Back to Diabolique after a few days off. The movie is different from what I remembered. But Simone Signoret is excellent.

I just looked and Portland restaurants were able to reopen today.  It is possible people weren't aware of this or already made plans to come across the bridge.

Back from a lovely dinner at Vitello's. First time I've seen Robert in person in a year. Shocking. We had fun catching up and I had a completely Keto friendly meal - small Caesar (no croutons), and salmon in a light cream sauce on a bed of spinach with a few asparagus stalks. It was really good. Now, I'm home and listening to music, and will think about what to view.

Had a late snack at a friend's new burger joint, if you can call a double jalapeno patty melt a snack. With fries and a giant chocolate chip cookie on the side.

I wish him the best with the operation. Sadly, certain areas of San Antonio are slow to reopening. And he's not in a great location.

Well, I have to have a biopsy on my thyroid in a few weeks. A nodule has increased in size.

Vibes for the best results

Books have been ordered and they gave me free expedited shipping - probably will take a week or two, but soon.

Well then where the heck is mine?!

Starting to watch a western called "Wichita" with Joel McCrea as Wyatt Earp, Walter Brennan, Vera Miles, Lloyd Bridges, Peter Graves and more. Has one of the worst theme songs I've ever heard sung by Tex Ritter. "Wichita, Wichita, Wichita ..."

Jacques Tourneur directed.

vixmom, I'm not sure it's working for me at all, although I have lost certainly five or six pounds.

Finished with my viewing. Joel McCrea shot 'em all up. He lived. They died. Satisfying ending to a western.

Tonight we've had a little Wagner, a little Hindemith, and now the Brahms second - so all four Brahms symphonies are in this set and I have to say they are great versions, albeit mono. For stereo, really can't top Szell, but these Ormandy mono performances are really great.

And it really is amazing how good mono can sound.

I do hope George is making progress on the book. Progress simply must be made. We need a review on Amazon, baby.
