John G, are water buffalo in abundance in that area of Texas? Off the top of my head I cannot think of any sources for it or water buffalo milk.

Nothing Keto about the coffee crunch gelato I had. I tasted my friends' pistachio and vanilla gelati. All were excellent. The place had been open only about 10 weeks and has been overrun, which is great. The owner was passing out samples of his water buffalo pepperoni, which was also really good (we had the meat before the dessert).

Always glad to see restaurants busy and successful.

Is your upcoming biopsy a needle biopsy? Have you had one before? I had one about ten years ago and didn't find it difficult at all. Little pricks with the needle.

Vibes yours goes as easily as mine.

Salmon. Yes, I do like salmon, preferably wild.

There used to be an Italian restaurant in Old Town Alexandria called Villa D'Este, which had superb salmon in a light sauce, with a few veggies. The owner passed away suddenly and his wife took over. It wasn't as good after that.

I like it grilled or poached.

My favorite restaurant here for salmon or sole has closed due to Covid.  :(

Back from the town of Blanco, which appears to have never heard of the pandemic or that Trump lost the election. The billboards, yard signs and flags in honor of Trump were all new. places like the barbecue joint we went to first were mask optional and few people wore masks. Same with the water buffalo gelato place.

So scary.

I'm really enjoying ONE LANE BRIDGE. It's on Acorn TV and possibly other places.

Nope. But somebody has decided to ranch them here anyway.

I think it’ll be more like yours. I can apparently drive. The whole thing takes 20 minutes, they say.

Hot, hot afternoon. The theater is not exactly chilled. Brenda Rae, who has sung at the Met, is Lucia. The orchestra is on stage.

My thyroid biopsy was a needle biopsy too.  Virtually painless and very quick

Zoom done. Watched a movie, too. Listening to a great mono Ormandy Scheherazade - there was an older 40s version in the set but this one's much better and in much better sound.
