I don't think anyone feels like dancing just now.

DR John G., I think you'd be comfortable living in Collinwood (Collinsport, ME; Dark Shadows), where it's always lightning and thunderstorming.

Oh, Elmore. I'm so sorry to hear about your fall. I'm so glad someone came to your aid. I hope you'll feel better soon.

As requested, Alexa woke me up at 7:30 this morning.  When I opened my eyes I was shocked to see I slept another 20 minutes.  Since I had an appointment this morning I was rather rushed.

My appointment was for blood work, including an A1C.  I hope my numbers have not gotten worse.

I took a hot bath which was really nice. My right leg is not as screwed up as I thought when I first got up from the floor, and I'm delighted there are no broken bones or concussion. I suspect that I will move more cautiously than I currently do for the next few days.

This week the ACC monsters murdered adorable little Keys. I wish I could have saved him.

Enjoy! It's become my favorite full-length ballet. It has a John Smithee role.

The DH is watching The Golden Arrow on TCM, and apparently Tab Hunter is wearing pantaloons.

I got an email from a sender named "Kimmel Cultural Campus" - and I thought I'd missed some project of BK's!

It turned out to be an event at the Kimmel Center in Philly.  But you never know.

The first time I remember Richard Widmark was when Lucy Ricardo went grapefruit hunting in his back yard.

It's always something.  Grapefruit hunting or standing still and being mistaken for a hat rack.

And who was Fred Mertz calling fat?   Ethel Mertz had a lovely figure.

I also liked Richard Widmark in MADIGAN.....he was pretty good in just about everything.  And when I happen to see his name in the cast list, I usually give it at least a cursory glance.
