The Circle of Life: Strawberry Edition.

The photo doesn't show the very last stage: going in my belly.

That's a really cool picture, Singdaw. :)

In case you want to have your cicadas and eat them, too.

No.  Just...no. :P

Good news, DR John G.   Hope you can hang on until then. You seem to have a pretty high pain threshhold.

I'm afraid I'm not very well-connected, DR elmore3003.  The only famous person I know is bk.

It's a bit cool to sit outside in my shirt sleeves - the water company has their heavy equipment across the street. I am guessing that the digging starts tomorrow.

Picked up a couple of packages, then made some faux stroganoff with no rice or pasta. Pretty good and a nice change. It probably has about 20 grams of carbs in the sauce but that's fine.

Of that list, you can find Jason Daniely on Facebook.

I was able to go out and do yardwork for an hour. Mostly light work. I don't get it. But it helped that the high today is only 76.

Bruce, days ago I asked a question & didn't see a response so I will ask again.

Do you plan to add Some Days Are Murder to your list of books on Goodreads?

Yes, I have to do that today.

Apparently later today ;)

Bruce, will you be doing a Nook version of the book?  If not it isn't a problem as I read it on my Amazon Kindle app.

I attempted to do a Nook version they day I did the Kindle version. There's something very wrong with the B&N site and I finally gave up. I have my password and username saved there. But it won't recognize them. So, I click on forgot password to send me a link to change it - then it doesn't recognize my e-mail address, which is nuts. When I try to register again under that e-mail address it says it's already being used. So, I spent fifteen minutes registering under a different e-mail address and get all the way through the submission until the financial bit, where it tells me I'm already registered with that information and won't let me finish. I wrote them and they've never responded back.

That's frustrating.

A friend of mine wrote, "the people who won't shut up about cancel culture are taking a break from not shutting up about cancel culture to cancel someone who won't worship their culture."

I like that.

After the Gliere, twenty albums to go and they're already uploaded. Then I'll go through and weed out things I won't listen to again. Most of it will stay, however. I think I can rid myself of about thirty albums.

Here is a headline I never thought I would see.

"Do not fill plastic bags with gasoline:' Government warns drivers hoarding fuel".
