I am sorry, DR elmore3003.  I am sure that using Access-A-Ride in Manhattan has its challenges.

DR elmore3003:  the trepidation of the unknown.  I'm sure all will work out fine.

Well, it didn't! I realized by 9:45, when the ride had not yet shown up, that I should have booked the trip for 90 minutes before the appointment. So, by 10:00 I had cancelled the trips today, cancelled and rescheduled my appointment for next Tuesday.

Oh, dear!  Sorry to hear things didn't work out as planned, DR Elmore.

First we have to sign up, then find out if we mind working out wearing masks.

It might be a short workout.

No outtakes, but a new interview with and new commentary from Sondheim.

Oh, my goodness!  That's fantastic!  AND they're including: “Original Cast Album: ‘Co-Op,’” a 2019 episode of the TV series Documentary Now! that parodies the film! ;D

DR GEORGE it seems that Harold Lloyd lost his index finger and thumb on his right hand in an accident with a prop bomb in 1919.  He wore a special set of gloves with prosthetic fingers on that hand and sometimes it looks as if he is making a gesture here and there......

I couldn't remember how he lost his fingers, but I did know that he did.  And yesterday when Dennis James the organist spoke about the movies and the music that he was playing, he did mention that whole story so that people who didn't know could watch and see how he didn't/couldn't move his index finger and thumb.

We now have all videos but two - one of which I know is coming today. The other will come sometime this week and hopefully sooner than later, but I anticipated this from the start, that there'd be one person who'd be the last to get it to us.

My sentiments exactly, DR George! It was my own fault. I had been warned to allow 90 minues, but I never thought that meant the ride to the appointment.

I am pretty excited about that new Criterion release.

I remember when I had that title on a bootleg VHS.

Oh wait....I think that person got moved to the Light Board.  This may be easier than I thought.

Sounds aggravating, DR Jrand70.

Would you rather not be heard, or not be seen?      :D

Back from picking up packages, one of which contained some Keto friendly stuff, like no carb rye bread - I made two fried egg sandwiches - net zero carbs and while I wouldn't say the bread is great, it does the trick when there's stuff that's tasty within the two slices. And only 45 calories a slice.

I started a text about the bird, the bunting. My spellcheck would rather type Bunuel instead.
