I found the owner's manual online.  But you're right; a video would be even better.  I'll search for that.

I think DR TCB and DR elmore3003 need to add a few more kitties to their collection so that they can re-create this tableau:

Cute! ;D

Were you peddling while you pressed on the plus button?  It has been awhile since I have used a recumbent bike, however, I recall nothing changed if I wasn't peddling.

I locked myself out of my house a few times in college, then said to myself, "This must end."
I then made a point of always putting my keys in the same place and being mindful when I left the house. That solved it.

Here's a disappointment: the lady who contacted me yesterday was looking for advice on cleaning out the music collection of her late husband, a Broadway conductor and musician, and Jonathan Tunick referred her to me because of my Drama Book Shop days. Annabelle & Thatch still slumber and remain with no agent and no sell.

I, too, was hoping it was a literary agent, but I'd say that a referral from Jonathan Tunick puts you in pretty good company.

The same here.

If I were sending out an invite, "Biopsy & Barbeque" would not be my first-choice title.

No, but the barbeque part would immediately make you think of John G, right?

I do wish though that I could have my mother's Shepherd's pie, without having had to kill a sweet lamb for it.

Well, that was certainly unpleasant. But it’s done. Results next week.

sorry it was miserable. I find myself saying, "But it's done" quite a bit these days.

For dessert I would have my mother's dark fruit cake with an almond paste topping.

So that was my Wednesday night.  When I got home, I turned on TCM so that I could let a nice movie make me feel better.

Unfortunately, they were showing JUDGMENT AT NUREMBERG which did NOT make me feel better.

No. Having a couple DVDs of feel-good films on hand is useful at times like these.

There is some confusion about this bone scan I need. I checked with the Radiation Dept of Lenox Hill Hospital that I was having the correct scan tomorrow morning, which was for a bone density scan. However, my referral is for a bone full body scan. So . . . I canceled tomorrow's bone density scanm and I am now getting a 4-hour bone body scan on June 4 at 9:00am. I feel as though I have been on the phone for eons over this megillah.

Yes, but it's good you caught the error.

I think DR TCB and DR elmore3003 need to add a few more kitties to their collection so that they can re-create this tableau:

They were all still at the same time?

I would like an old fashioned soda fountain orange float like we used to drink when I was young.

John G, you mentioned that the characters from BROKENWOOD MYSTERIES seem like old friends. Yes, for me, too. In fact, there's something about that show that I find comforting. The plots are OK, but not great. Something, however, resonates for me.

If you're able to watch ONE LANE BRIDGE you'll see an actor from BROKENWOOD. You'll have to let me know if you like the series.

TOD:
So many of my favorite restaurants have closed permanently! If they were still open, I'd choose...

Filet of sole on the patio at La Dijonaise (Culver City, CA)
Salmon at Villa D'Este (Alexandria, VA)
House veggie burgers at Golden Mean (Santa Monica, CA)

I don't know if that cat photo was photoshopped. If not, it is pretty remarkable.

I didn't buy a bike, DR Jane. Heavens. I don't have that kind of spare cash. No, it's one of the pieces of equipment owned by our building.
