We are due today for a hot humid day and then rain later. I'm glad I'm inside. I have an amazon Fresh delivery between 11:00 and 1:00, but if they follow their usual patterm oit may be here by 10:15.

Of course irritating person in Pillow Talk announced immediately on her Facebook page that she is starring in the play complete with a poster of herself.....so and so as A L M A!

The director demanded a Princess Telephone - so brought him down a Princess phone for Jan and a regular black dial phone for Brad.

He deigned to tell me he guessed the black one would work for Brad but that he wanted a PRINCESS phone for Jan.....I told him he had one....but he informed me that what I had given him was a SLIM LINE phone....

Which it was not...the SLIM LINE phone has the dial in the receiver....I finally realized what he wanted for Jan is a French style phone.....which he for some reason calls a Princess Phone....which it is not.....I really don't think Jan would use a French phone....but whatever...

It's going to be a long couple of months.....

I had a very enjoyable evening out, followed by a crappy sleep all night. Some little thing I ate or drank before going to bed did not agree with my esophagus and it was Heartburn City. I’ll be eating and drinking very gently today. Feeling better now, but definitely taking it easy. Glad I don’t have any obligations that have to be met today.

I’m also glad I don’t have to do anything in particular today because of the temperature and humidity. It’s a day for sitting, reading, and - this evening - watching. Just one day of it this time, tomorrow and Friday are looking to be comfortable again. And we’re putting the a/c’s in the windows this weekend.

According to Apple, I was - and still am - supposed to get my iPad Pro today. UPS begs to differ, and shows it en route for delivery tomorrow.

Well, we shall see, shan’t we. Either works for me. I have to read some more reviews and decide on which protective case to get.
