I ran some errands today, then stopped for the great $7 bargain lunch at a very good local Italian restaurant. I'd like to see more restaurants do this. It's take-out only and cash only, but their busy lunch take-out business kept them going throughout the pandemic. They have a good outdoor dining business, too, now. Will the pandemic bring more respectability to take-out?

My local Trader Joe's hasn't been very busy for at least a month now. I don't know why that is, but it's so much nicer shopping without a crowd.

We now have DMV kiosks, too -- a great idea, IMO -- where they give you the new registration card once you pay. The government's productivity charts ought to factor in how much time people save by not going to the DMV.
