Well, I was right.  Today her mother texted me that carpeting would be pulled up tomorrow and the new flooring installed on Monday.”  I texted back, “What carpeting?  I was given the idea that this work was all in the bathroom.”  Mom wrote back, “Oh no, this is the living room and the hallway.”

I wrote back, “NO!   I only gave permission for the bathroom.”  She said.  “Well, we gave you a note.”  And I said, “And I gave you a permission letter for the bathroom only!”  She started to write something back, but then thought better of it.  I waited a half hour, and then I called her up.  I told her that they do not have my permission.  And, I said (shame on me) that they already made enough noise, that I would never give them permission to remove the carpet.

BK, when I first read in your notes: "I’ll eat (maybe one last Factor meal...)", I read it as, "I’ll eat (maybe one Max Factor meal...)".

So, we will see what tomorrow brings.  I have their note and my permission letter, so we shall see.  The HOA is on my side, because earlier this year someone tried to abolish that part of the by-laws, and everyone gave them a resounding no.

What a coinkydink!  One of the items that I got for my sister last night, was a package of Marie Callender's corn bread mix.  I've gotten that for myself in the past, and it's very good.
