To continue from last night:  This is interesting.  Right now, Redfin says that my condo is worth $231,751, but Zillow says that my condo is worth $314,377!  How can there be such a wide range??

Today, it's back to work.  And being the first week of the month, I have to pay the credit card.  That shouldn't take too long.

Just had to share. :)

Last night we watched a 1971 BBC broadcast of Offenbach's Tales of Hoffmann, which featured Michel Molese as Hoffmann and Elizabeth Harwood as all four ladies in his life and tales. Like the Michael Powell film, the score was heavily cut, and the recitatives were replaced by spoken dialogue, which may have represented Offenbach's first thoughts on the work. The prduction was excellent, but the DVD was taken from something in terrible condition, and much of the Venice act was a mess.

Today I must call Access-a-Ride for tomorrow's trip to the Village, and I have few plans beyond that.

A fire in my parents' house in 1972 destroyed much of my memorabilia of the first 26 years of my life. Occasionally oner of my cousins will send me a photo of a family event that I usually do not remember, and I occasionally purchase on eBay a program of some movie or show I saw.  The things I really miss are the magazines, books, and other ephemera of my Ohio life, 1972-79, that my mother tossed out after I moved to NYC.

The photos in the notes were ULTRA!  I loved them all....everyone looked great.

And there was a purpose to each photo - not just a look at me selfie like so many photos today.......

I like the production photos and the owl photo the best.

I went to CVS to get a couple of regular prescriptions....and then since I was in that part of town - SOUTH - I stopped at Pet Supplies Plus to get Birdy Barnum's seed....I like to get a couple of kinds and mix them so he gets a nice choice.

He still throws his cranberries/craisins into the wastebasket - but I still keep thinking one day he will taste one and like it.

I have bits and pieces of my life in various places....but especially the small library room off the living room and the walk in closet....most in boxes and some in filing cabinets.

This winter will be purge time, I have decided.....but it's hard.

Theatre is all cleaned and swept, chairs have been sprayed, and there is a program neatly placed on each seat.

I always buy new underwear and t-shirts when I am in a show, because in Community Theatre, everyone judges your underwear in the dressing room.....

That's something I like about being a musician in a show. The underwear is not on display.
