Well, you've read the notes, the notes went down a rabbit hole, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they couldn't fit down the damn rabbit hole.

Topic of the Day:  I can go down the Tube of You rabbit hole...usually either baking or cooking vids (I don't know why...I'll never bake or cook what I'm watching), or political commentary vids with a (very) liberal and non-conservative perspective.  Or, theater or opera videos.  I've subscribed to several opera companies' YouTube channels, and since they're long-form (remember when YouTube videos couldn't be longer than 10 minutes?), I can watch them at work and just let the sound waft through my ears and I can glance at the video portion every once in a while since I have to monitors. :)

So, would you like to know when the June 1958 release of The Colossus of New York actually opened? November 19, 1958 as the bottom half of a double bill (top half was From the Earth to the Moon). So, that was my one and only time at the Hawaii Theater.  I have no memory of how I would have gotten there - perhaps my father dropped me off there and then picked me up on his way home from work - that would make sense, I think. Or maybe he even attended.

Saw The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad on January 9, 1959. It opened at the bigger theaters at the end of December, so it was a fast turnover to the Stadium and other nabes.

I really don't understand this influx of The Creature Wasn't Nice orders. Someone had to do a story or podcast on it and within the last week - so, why can't I find any evidence of such a thing. We've had over twenty orders in three days and they're still coming in.

It was nice to see DR TCB, however briefly, last night.

I slept soundly from around 9:15 to 2:15. After that it was hit or miss, depending on Stella's moods.

Yesterday's zoom meeting went well.  Our producer has had a TV scriptwriter for Hallmark write a screenplay of our Moonshine and Mistletoe book that he wants us to read, and I think we're finally moving to get our demo recording released. That would certaqinly promote the show.

I wish we would go back to our old artwork. I like it better.

I have no plans for today. The excessively romping kitties left we an overturned bowl of kibble all over the floor, so I will clean that up with the dustbuster aeound 9:00. I don't wish to disturn the neighbor below me before then.

YouTube has become my current rabbit hole. I'm both delighted and dismayed by the things I find and often by the shoddy condition of some videos that get posted.

I think the whole internet is a rabbit hole waiting to divert attention from what else has to be done.

My dreams last night were a confusing rabbit-hole mess. People and places from many past eras of my life, all mashed together in a way that made no sense. And very specific! Weird.

DR JohnG, I had meant days ago to thank you for that link to dreams. Madame Esmé says he's wrong: dreams are memories from past lives refiltered through your current existence.

I enjoyed the sitcom at times, but I had no urge to see these people again.

Researching former houses and apartments, and of course their locales, is a rabbit hole, as is reconstructing various events and experiences I'd like to remember better. And yes, same here with the movie theaters, which started being a "thing" for me a couple of decades ago.

YouTube for sure, and I know I've but scratched the surface of what's available. That monster could easily get out of control if I let it.

So I am dealing with casting and all the questions and emails that that process entails....

And untalented actors who want to know why they didn't get a part with a solo or who suddenly have too many conflicts because they didn't get the part they asked for even though ON THE AUDITION FORM they said that they would accept another part.

I'm down four brothers....but I'm sure I'll find them someplace.

I hate casting....the worst part of directing....
