While I was waiting I judged it was late enough for Vixdad to be awake so I called his cell to see if he wanted me to bring him an egg sandwich

He had twisted his ankle yesterday after slipping off the bottom stair in the basement.

When he woke this mornin* his ankle and calf had swollen and it was very painful to walk

They took X-rays and determined it was a bad sprain and sent him home with his ankle wrapped in an ace bandage and a ankle brace
