Well, you've read the notes, the notes ruminated, and now it is time for you to post until the ruminating cows come home.

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Terrible news from Miami about that building collapse. Pity it wasn't Mar-a-Lago.

I am not ready to go back into a public venue. I'm vaccinated, and I would love to dump my outdoors mask, but there are too many fools and ridiculous anti-vaxxers (my niece is one of those nitwits) strolling about, and if my mother did one thing for me, she made me paranoid.

Last night I watched a Royal Opera video of Peter Grimes starring John Vickers, whom I saw as Peter Grimes at the Met) and Heather Harper. I didn't like the set or staging much, but at least the costumes were 19th century. I am so tired of seeing contemporary productions with everyone in last year's frocks.  I don't know if productions are being really cheap these days or if the Eurotrash directors think it points up the work's relevancy to its dumbed-down audience.

The laundry is in the dryers, and I have a 30-minute break before I need to head back to the basement. Kitty cleanup is over, the bed is made, and all is well. So far.

DR ChasSmith, is there any good day after July 1 to come in for a visit and to pick up cartons of things? Since I'll need Michael to help with the cartons, I want to be sure he's available.

Certainly. I could possibly do it on Friday the 2nd. My next free days would be the following week, probably any of the weekdays. Want to take a look at those and let me know what might work?

One More Angel is now done and done.....or at least ready for improvements.  We have a very good cast - what there is of them....

I guess that answers the question for me about the TOD.  Yes, I am ready and moving on.

And yes there are still the ZOOM shows going on......

White Kitty has taken to visiting me a couple of times a day.  Yesterday she jumped into my lap for a few scratches and pets....I bought a small bowl and put some Friskies treats in it.

They were gone last night....so I added a few more this morning.  She came by and lolled around on the side walk for awhile....and then left....

I plan to get some photos tomorrow.

This morning at 7:45 a.m. I heard a van roaming around the neighborhood.

After a few passes - it backed up into my driveway and sat there idling.....tinted windows.....government license plates.....

And sat there....and sat there.....then it started moving forward and turned left out of my driveway and proceeded up the street.

It stopped in front of another house - and some guys got out and the folks in the house came running toward them.....and they were talking about how they had been at the wrong house etc etc....

I thought maybe one of those Social Security Calls that I hung up on had been real.....
