Last night we took my mom to the Red Lobster for her birthday

This morning we began our road trip looking forward to our lunch plans.  About an hour out we made what should have been a quick pit stop at a Pilot. Just as I opened the car door to get out a woman raced into the spot next to us and slammed into the door.  We are fine but not the car.  She apologized saying the sun was in her eyes.  Right, sun in eyes means drive faster.  We drove home with the door tied closed with a bungee cord. Sigh.

Needless to say, we are very disappointed.

Oh, my goodness!! I hope she has insurance and will pay for ALL the repairs!!

We doubt that.  At least we will have to pay our detectable.  She didn't even have a driver's license to show us.  She did give us her name and phone number.

I'm going to go to my sister's in a little bit, and we're going to watch Black Widow on Disney+ on her daughter's HUGE TV.  I think it's 65 inches.  I'll almost be like being at the movie theater!

How does your niece manage her sound issues at home?

She has noise cancelling headphones that help some when she's out and about, but she doesn't need any at home.

Sorry I was interrupted by several phone calls in a row

Anyway we ordered the seafood stuffed mushrooms and coconut shrimp to share out and they brought their bread basket.

I had one of each and we ordered our meals and suddenly I felt an unwelcome rumbling

I spent the next 20 minutes in the ladies room

Then came out to find the rest of the family eating their dinner

Fortunately my brother and his wife had met us there so I made an extremely brief apology asked Vixdad fir the car keys and RAN out if there

Fortunately the restaurant is less than a mile from our house and all 5 of the lights were green

Because I arrived home with seconds to spare

So not an optimum experience all around

Everyone else was fine
