I hadn’t eaten all day and was really looking forward to it
Quote from: Jane on July 11, 2021, 01:03:47 PMThis morning we began our road trip looking forward to our lunch plans. About an hour out we made what should have been a quick pit stop at a Pilot. Just as I opened the car door to get out a woman raced into the spot next to us and slammed into the door. We are fine but not the car. She apologized saying the sun was in her eyes. Right, sun in eyes means drive faster. We drove home with the door tied closed with a bungee cord. Sigh.Needless to say, we are very disappointed.Oh, my goodness!! I hope she has insurance and will pay for ALL the repairs!!

What's really too bad is that you have to miss seeing all your friends!
Jane I am so sorry to hear about your plans having to be cancelled because of that idiot driver. I’m glad you’re safe
I'm going to go to my sister's in a little bit, and we're going to watch Black Widow on Disney+ on her daughter's HUGE TV. I think it's 65 inches. I'll almost be like being at the movie theater!

Tonight, she won't be watching with us. She'll be downstairs, so my sister and I can turn up the volume to a louder level.
