I am not in the best of moods this morning. I'm not happy about this damned $800 tax bill, which now makes our property taxes for this year nearly $5,000. In July 2019 I had to pay $664 and last July $774, which was a big jump. This irritation only makes me angrier at two stupid brother whose greed put us in this 14-years pf property tax disaster.

Then, on top of that, the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance ends on September 5, I believe, and whatever chances I have of recouping that tax payment is limited, and once the PUA ends, I have no work.

This is Michael Gildin's last week as my part-time helper which is good in that I can no longer afford him anmd bad in that I do not want this apartment to slide back into a disaster area. I have all these cartons for Joshie to pick up, and I wanted to accomplish this before Michael stopped working with me. Well, fat chance now.

Keith spent hours planning the trip and now is spending twice that time in dealing with the insurance and the car.

What a mess. The body shops the insurance has approved are very busy with our first choice having over a two week wait just to get an appraisal. Then rental cars are very limited due to covid. We will get something today and hope it is decent.
