Saturday morning greetings!  As we predicted, the work on our basement was not completed in 5 days and the jackhammers are back today.  It looks like they will finish today.  We're without a front porch, but Zach is coming Thursday to help us figure out what we're going to do about that.  I have a vision and Richard has provided some input and we think it will be very pretty.

The worst part is the jackhammering.   I like that you are getting excited about your front porch

I'd read that the daily-wear contacts that are worn once and thrown away, and the kind that are taken out each night and cleaned but used for months, are the exact same contact lens!  It's just marketing!

Hmmm.  I know the mark-up on contacts is outrageous.  Years ago when I switched from reusable to daily wear contacts there was definitely a difference in the texture.  The reusable were more flimsy and tore more easily.

It's not on tonight on the Seattle PBS.  I wonder if it actually was on last night and I didn't know about it.  HOWEVER, it will be on again on the 21st, so I can record it then!  Thanks for letting me know!

I haven't turned on my computer yet, but if it's available to stream on PBS's website, I can actually capture it very easily.

Well, it is streaming on PBS's website and capturing it WAS easy! I don't have to wait for it to be shown on TV, and the TV broadcast is only in 1280x720, whereas the PBS stream is 1920x1080.

If you are truly offering, DR George, I would LOVE a Blu Ray copy of the Broadway documentary. I have PBS Passport, so I can watch it, but I don't have any way to record it. Unless they're going to offer hard copies for sale the way they did the first one - which is out of print, now.

I started watching it and was jumping around and saw that what I downloaded included the PBS pledge breaks. So, I'll cut those out, but I'm assuming they're not broadcasting the whole program.

Made a Costco run this morning. Gas was $2.57 a gallon. Much better than the $3.19 in Louisville. 

I was happy to pay $3.01 instead of $3.27 it was the previous week at my local station
