And I needed it.

I made no attempt whatsoever to watch the Tonys last night. Not even the part on regular TV. Chose not to deal with it.

I don't have a favorite Nicole Kidman movie. No idea what that would be. It used to be a treat to see her in something, but years have passed since I felt that way. I don't even know what the most recent movie I've seen would be.

Looking forward to hearing about, and seeing, the Northwest get-together today.

From DR George:

Quote
Jane, have you seen The Shawshank Redemption?  That's also based on a Stephen King novella called Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption

I did, and didn't realize it was a King film.  Another excellent movie.

And another that improved on the original novella, IMO.

I'm up and will now shower and get dressed to head out into the wet and rainy weather for the 2021 HHW PNW Gathering! ;D

I hope they are having better weather there then I am having.  It has been raining hard all morning.

If it wasn't raining I would go for a walk, instead I will go to the gym.  I hope I am not making a mistake doing so.  I can always walk slowly on the treadmill if I get tired, or wait in the car for Keith.

I am not a Nicole Kidman fan, but I think she's wonderful in To Die For and The Others.

Darn.  I got a phone call from Tom and he's not feeling well, at all. :( So, it'll just be me and John.  I don't know Seattle as well as Tom, but hopefully, we'll find enough things to do and places to go that it won't be a boring day for John.

Until later!

Monday afternoon greetings.  I have no sense of smell and can only taste saltiness.  I am not amused.

I'm sorry, Ginny. I was afraid that would happen. I hope you have a very mild case.

I forgot To Die For. She never lived up to the promise of that. I think Eyes Wide Shut and Nine were her worst.
