DR singdaw does your workload increase during this upcoming few months when everybody and his brother is looking for new Medicare supplements?

DR Jrand71 - my work doesn't overlap with Medicare too much, but in general the Open Enrollment period is a lot crazier for all of us, yes. And the DH and I will have our first-time Medicare homework to do for him.

I am sad about Tommy Kirk because he was in so many things that I loved as I was growing up:

The Hardy Boys on MMC
The Shaggy Dog
Swiss Family Robinson
Old Yeller
Bon Voyage

and Pajama Party with Miss Annette Funicello - his co star in two Merlin Jones movies.   They do a really nice duet here, one of my favorite songs in the series of films.

I agree, DR Jrand71. I had forgotten about the Hardy Boys. I loved that series.

DR George, BK posted on the Bonynge-Sutherland-Lansbury recording of The Beggar's Opera in his notes on August 13.

Thanks, Larry.  I didn't do a search before I asked. ::)

I found the trailer around 12:15, and there were few people there. I walked into a trailer crammed with cats i and cages of various sizes. The first cage had a cat so depressed it lay back in the interior with its face to the wall, the second cage had a pretty cat named Kelly, the name of my crazy far right wing anti-semite uncle. I walked on to the third. The info on the cage said Annabelle was a year old. Her vet later thought she was between six to ten months old. At any rate it was love at first sight. She danced arpound the cage, flirted with me, talked, head-butted my hand, and I yelled out "I'll take her!"

Two hours later, after my references passed, I walked out of the trailer, which had a long line of peole waiting to enter, with Annabelle. Happy Gotcha Day, Missy!

So sweet!!  Happy 4th Gotcha Day Anniversary!!

Regarding Elmore's story about choosing Annabelle --

I don't believe I have chosen a cat since I was about 10. Sandra chose a couple when she was a child -- three, I think. The rest either showed up here or were foster failures.

The odds are you have covid, however, it is probably best to confirm it regarding possible future booster vaccinations.

Yes, DR Jane, I wanted it documented.

I had a nice visit with my friend Marc, and for dinner I'm having some potato salad and an Italian hoagie. Very very very tasty!

So today I went to PetSmart to get some seed for Barnum.  I usually buy it in bulk and pound or so of the fancy stuff and a couple of pounds of the excellent and then mix them with some sunflower kernels so that he has a bit of everything - including the cranberries I put in every morning and he throws into the wastebasket as quickly as possible....

Then I went to pick up a couple of prescriptions.....then I went to get a new shower curtain and some bathroom rugs and towels to change it up in the bathroom.  It took awhile because I found the shower curtain and rugs....then I found some bath towels but there were NO matching hand towels....so I had to start all over....

Then to the bank, then to take my new to me laptop to FLUX the computer repair place inside the local Meijer store.  We shall see what happens, if anything.
