I had a Covid test the other day. I was having some cold symptoms over the weekend and thought I'd better get tested. Negative! That's what I expected, but it's best to have it confirmed. LA County has things set up now so that I was able to get an appointment quickly, free, and nearby. It went very smoothly. I REALLY like the idea of FREE and frequent testing.

I am going blind. This morning I am having the worst time focusing and reading words on the computer screen. I see my ophthalmologist for the first time in over 18 months on Monday, and that will be interesting.

Are you having floaters? I was trying to figure out why the vision in my right eye was so blurry after the procedure to correct that eye and I think it's due to my floaters. When I take the little pellets (tiny pills) that reduce the floaters the vision in that eye becomes clearer, too. Glad you're seeing the ophthalmologist. Vibes it clears soon.

HA!  Good morning.

I am going over to my uncle's house with my sister this morning.  He has been in the hospital since Saturday - he had an ulcer flare up and he was dehydrated.....but he is improving and will be coming home today or tomorrow.

I am going to add my sister's phone number and my cousins phone number into his landline so that he can speed dial them.

I downloaded the instructions from the inner web, and I have done this once before.  So I am hoping I can get it done.

Vibes for Jrand's uncle.

The electricians have come and gone. I survived three waking hours without internet. I felt quite lost.

Groan.  I am glad it is done with and hope they did the work correctly.  It would be a shame if they have to return.

The video of Wilshire Blvd is interesting. I confess I don't remember much from 1951, but BK, older and wiser, would. It would not surprise me to find that HE took that footage.

Good news it was negative.  Is it the quick test or did you have to wait for the results?

I wish. But I won't be able to afford to retire for a few more years. I can't even withdraw from my accounts without penalty for another half-year. Not that I need to do that.

Sitting on my talents all day doesn't help me get enough exercise, even with the dancing.

There was a cast of about 10, all with fine voices.

The score was reduced by half to about 90 minutes of action, which caused everything to flow quickly.

The top arias were there, and the audience was vocally appreciative.

But there was no orchestra. I don't know if it's because the symphony is on strike or if the budget only allowed for a pianist. The music conductor also played harpsichord.
