Nothing is working on the iMac. Can't restore from the Time Capsule yet, it isn't fully loading Big Sur, so I'll write on the laptop. I'm petrified of losing stuff, but hopefully the Time Machine latest back-up from this afternoon is safe. Why it can't "find the Time Capsule is anyone's guess. The senior tech is calling in the morning - he's as upset as I am. At this point, I'd just be happy to get back to Mojave and the way things were. Frightening and just more crap we don't need to deal with

I just spoke to my brother Randy, who informed me that our cousin Eddie had written a book. I can't say it much interests me, but it's set in the territory where my dad and his brother grew up and where Eddie and his brothers spent much of their summers at my grandmother's house in the 1950s.

Well there is a Smart Car in my drive way.  I am going to drive it around for a few days and see what's what.

They are doing (I think) a new musical called BRUCE, based on a book called The Jaws Log.

Bruce was the nickname of the mechanical shark in the movie.
